Will Congress vote to override President Trump?

Some GOPers say they support the defense bill, but will stand by President Trump and vote to sustain the veto.

  1. Give the swamp critters nothing… I’m secretly hoping that President Trump burns the whole infested swamp TO THE GROUND… declassify it all. We the People will be able to handle it.

  2. Who knows how many pages make up the defense authorization Bill and what is in it? If President Trump vetoed it I trust his instincts.

Probably memorials to the transgender Marine chick that fought in Iwo Jima and came out of the closet two weeks ago. Green marines Stay at home at all cost generals.

Like I said, I trust Trump. It’s probably thousands of pages long and it was built by democrats.

  3. Remember when Bela Pelosi said “$1,000 bonuses that workers received were “crumbs.” and “President Trump’s tax cuts are meer table scraps”?
What doe the old Bitch say about $600.00 when we’re sending Billions overseas???
    Americans should be insulted!!

Let me translate that: We’ll have to vote with the President because our constituents will never vote for us again if we don’t. Recalls work, we’re about to get rid of Newsom! I think Trump is sticking it to them every which way he can.

  5. @Brad – When the need for the Insurrection Act, pin needs to be pulled, we are way beyond what is in this piece of shit bill. IOW who cares what is in this bill?

Does Congress have the authority to tell a President this cannot be done???

    Capish?

And is it Constitutional? Since it has been USED before.

There is precedence for it already regardless of THIS bill. No?

  6. Unfortunately, our recently reelected MT junior Senator, Daines, has just revealed himself to be at least a borderline RINO, much to our surprise. He said he’d join fester to override. And, there’s a lot of pork in there for MT. He’ll be hearing from us, not that it’s likely to make a difference since he’s in for another 6.

“Was there a grant in there for studying the mating habits of pet rocks?”

…I remember seeing a really detailed, taxpayer funded study on why a certain breed of desert toad pees before it jumps when it’s scared. There were charts and graphs and statistics, coming to the ultimate conclusion that it pees when scared so it could leap further.

Nowhere did it say why anyone other than the toad needed to know this.

So it makes for big checks to universities and liberal professors, I suppose.

But it does nothing for we who fund it but squeeze the pee out of US…
