1. Gee….weren’t we told that no standards had been lowered for women in the military who underwent combat training?

   Lying bastards. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to realize women couldn’t meet the retired PT standards for Jump school, Ranger school, etc. Those of us that did knew it was a lie.

2. What he left out here during his most awesome message was also the best chance to survive combat, the best chance to be victorious against an all male fighting force. This is no insult to women. It’s just reality.

3. To require otherwise is beyond stupid: for the male soldiers who will be killed relying incompetent fellow soldiers, and the incompetent fellow soldiers themselves who will likely be killed in battle.

4. Did he raise the women’s standards up to the men or lower the men’s standards down to the women? I think he should clarify.

5. I thought “standard” meant standard.
   If we have different “standards” for different people, then we have no standards.

   If History offers a clue, as a war grinds on the “standards” required to be a soldier are reduced to: “is it breathing?” and “can it carry a rifle?”

   To be thrown onto a battlefield as cannon fodder requires no standards – and that was the purpose of the demonrats – that America be defeated. I really thought that was obvious to everyone.
