It would be interesting to follow up on this story to see if hero officer faced any criminal charges. Fortifying the notion that “libs destroy everything”, the temperature here, or at least in the big blue cities, especially when Soros-backed DAs hold the thermometer, is that this officer committed cold-blooded murder and should be locked up for life.
Still, immediate justice dispensation always brings a smile to my face.

Were this in the US, even an off-duty cop would likely be given the Darren Wilson treatment; and a “Good Sam” citizen doing this would be imprisioned, impoverished, his family doxxxed, and been relentlesly reviled by the enemedia even as the Democrat politicos pay out to the perpetrators and their families and elevate the 17 yo to sainthood doing the ensuing riots they incite.
…Ive never understood this legally. If I help a person as a Good Sam in medical distress I have myriad legal protections in pretty much every state against just about anything short of gross neglegence or willful injury.
But a Good Sam who protects the life of another with a firearm not only has NO legal protection if it wasnt him PERSONALLY in fear for his life in most states, but is actually criminally and civilly LIABLE for daring to end a violent crime against another and end the threat the violent criminal poses to society forever.
Thats why things like the woman getting burned to death on the NY subway happen, why no one steps up.

…as a people, we need to step UP, not only to put scum like this down but to protect those who DO end the threat for another. Work to get legislation changed, politicians unelected, and if on a jury dont be afraid to use your RIGHT to Jury Nullification of laws meant to put the law-abiding HERO in jail even as they protect the CRIMINAL.
…and if you ARE the hero, dont forget that everything is situational.

That is just for a bullet. You still got 7¢ for a primer and a dimes worth of powder. You might be able to do better than that on a good man stopper bullet, but not by much. Shit, I’m paying nearly $200/thousand for 20 grain 17 caliber bullets these days. That’s 20¢ each for those of you in Rio Linda. I can’t even shoot three sage rats for a dollar these days.

A couple buddies just picked up a pallet of bullets and ammo in Oregon. They get a hella deal on it because even though he doesn’t make a dime on it it gives the dealer a large enough order to buy direct and there is no distributor markup. They called to know if I wanted to throw a couple cases of rimfire ammo on the order. There are more and more syndicates competing for members. Guys who are shooting registered targets burn a thousand rounds/week.
