High school crowns boy prom queen, girls pissed

NYP: Some girls at La Guardia HS of Music & Art and Performing Arts were not amused that a boy stole their stiletto-heeled thunder and became this year’s prom queen — and their claws have come out on social media.

“I know I go to LaGuardia because a boy won prom queen,” snarked Asia Pierre in a Facebook post that attracted 500 homophobic comments and 100 shares before it was removed.

“It just sucks that men win everything and we thought we at least deserve that,” wrote a classmate under the name Taj Mahal.

Matthew Crisson, an 18-year-old Staten Islander who self-identifies as “non-binary” (meaning neither male nor female), was awarded the tiara at the “Fame” school last weekend.  more

  1. later on in life, the prom “King” will be pimping out his “Drag-Queen” for gas money.. ’cause da Cadillac don’t run on thanks.. So, he’s gotta keep his pimp hand strong..because pimping ain’t easy and it don’t come cheap.. yo!
Also, check out the look on Little Leroy’s face.. it’s like “really? socks with stilettos??

  2. If it were 1962, for example, and after all the hurrah and hoopla and partying, the aristocratic and articulate seniors–waiting for the real girls to go home along with the teachers and other faculty–would escort “It” to the back alley behind the school, before streetlights were even thought of in alleys.

And these fine, outstanding muscled bound crew-cut senior lads, with Lucky Strikes and Camels hanging out of their mouths, standing in their blue jeans, spotless white cotton t-shirts rolled up–and their freshly laced Ked’s high tops–grasping and swinging tightly held baseball bats, chains, and gripping the finest in brass-knuckles, and maybe, maybe a switchblade, would bring “It” to a place far beyond pain and torture, where blackness would be the only way out, before being scrape off the pavement ever so gently and taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

  3. neither male nor female

Yet the females take the fall?

It’s on you, ladies. I stand up for you every turn, but this one is on you. You’ve been given equal rights, yet the male gender, and those who don’t even associate with a gender, evidently does better than you even at your own gender.

  4. 1st of all, I like the look of, “Oh hayell naaah” on the King’s face.

    2. Gray booties with wedge sandals? Really?
    3. Black wedge sandals with a yellow dress?
    4. He looks like a Yule Brynner in drag from The King and I.
