DougRoss: Cheryl D. Mills, long-time friend and confidant of Bill and Hillary Clinton, is promoting a 23 cents-an-hour wage in the West African nation of Ghana to lure textile and apparel industry companies to invest there even as the former secretary of state advocates a $15-an-hour “livable wage” here.
Mills’ newly formed firm, the BlackIvy Group, LLC., makes the pitch with a powerpoint presentation that was obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Critics interviewed by TheDCNF charged that the presentation promotes “slave labor” and “slave wages.”
from a purely capitalist industrial aspect it’s a fantastic idea.
China/Hong Kong is becoming too expensive, Vietnam is the new China. Mexico is also too expensive.
Textiles likely is simple and lo-tech enough to work in a place like that.
23c per hour is fantastic. Look for the “made in Ghana” clothing label to start showing up in Wal-Mart within a quarter or 2.
Also no reported cases of Ebola in Ghana, per Google!
;-p
Hillary will then take credit for raising the minimum wage from 22 cents an hour to 23 cents an hour and all the dirt they can eat!
Blacks selling blacks into slavery. Same as it ever was.
What will Hitlery’s cut be?
All to be donated to the “Foundation,” of course.
