KTLA: Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a mansion in Hollywood Hills West on Thursday after receiving calls of “unknown trouble” and neighbors hearing the screams of a woman coming from inside the residence, authorities announced.
While police did not say exactly what time the call came in, officers responded to 1754 Sunset Plaza Drive and found a group of squatters living in the multi-million-dollar residence, which had been abandoned and trashed.
Three people, a man and two women, who were at the mansion were removed from the residence and handcuffed by police. more
The obvious first question should be, were the squatters black. And if not, were they illegal beaners.

I have a friend that put a playground in and they burnt it down in a few weeks. Trash most of the housing in no time. Then the government rebuilds and around we go.
“Worth millions” doesn’t mean much in the inflated CA housing market. It might be a 1500 square-foot bungalow.

Point of Order:
LAPD has responded to that address dozens of times, and that mansion has been trashed for months.
The bigger issue is, why isn’t some officious bass-turd from City Hall, running down the owner, and instituting exorbitant fines on them for failure to maintain the property or secure it?
If this was Joe Sixpack’s stucco shack in a sketchy ‘hood, who worked at the car wash, with front lawn grass a foot tall, or a hulk on blocks in the front yard, TPTB would have SWAT-raided the guy five times by now, and LAPD would be water-boarding him hourly for his sins.
And I’m frankly shocked the nearby neighbors haven’t burned that former mansion down proactively, then reported to the cops and arson investigators that “nobody saw nothin’…”
