Anyone who knows their history knows that there is no comparison of Trump to Hitler. To the left anyone who disagrees with them is automatically compared to Hitler. And people are too ignorant or didn’t learn about the correct history about the Nazi’s and Hitler to know the difference. All they need to read is The Rise and Fall Of The Third Reich by William L Shirer to learn the truth.

When I was growing up in the 60s members of the Greatest Generation would be offended when anyone called someone Hitler, they felt it a trivializing a great evil.
Germany made it illegal to use the word Nazi.
My two younger brothers have given me that “Trump is just like Hitler” line. I’ve told them they need to read two books, “The Art of the Deal” and “Mein Kampf” and get back to me.

All it would take for people to understand what Fascism/Naziism is all about would be to read a couple of books on the subject.
Economically it’s the unholy alliance of big business and government for the benefit of both big business and gov’t. Free enterprise is not what Fascism is about. Sounds to me like the Military-Industrial Complex that Eisenhower warned us about way back in 1960, and which we now have. When big business tows the government line, big profits from gov’t contracts is inevitable.

I had fun the other day. A Harris supporter called Trump a fascist, and I asked her to define fascist or at least give me a little history of the term. I guess “fascist” is defined as “Trump,” and “Trump” is the definition of “fascist.” I then asked if she understood the term “circular argument.”
I suspect that if I asked about “National Socialist Worker’s Party,” I would get the same reasoning.

Military historians can and do write positive things about some German generals and officers. Like Rommel and others, such as Col. Stauffenberg and likeminded officers appalled with the direction Hitler was taking Germany. Even Goering knew Germany was destined to defeat when it attacked the USSR in July 1941.
