WaTimes:Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Sunday said the migrant caravan marching through Mexico to the U.S. is “not getting in.”
“There a legal way to get into this country. Those who choose to enter illegally will be stopped,” Ms. Nielsen told Fox News Sunday.
Tens of thousands of migrants, including as many as 7,000 that are part of the latest migrant caravan, have been streaming north hoping to exploit lax enforcement of U.S. laws to gain a foothold here.
One common tactic is to claim fear of being sent home, which if approved can earn them a chance to claim asylum. They are usually immediately released to give them the chance at full asylum — though half never bother to follow through, disappearing instead into the shadows as illegal immigrants, and others skip out on their hearings and likewise disappear.
Ms. Nielsen said the caravan is one iteration of a “crisis” on the border, and that President Trump is keeping every authority on the table to prevent illegal immigration.
Yet she refused to signal whether the president plans to close off the border to people seeking asylum, perhaps involving powers similar to his “travel ban” on select, predominantly Muslim. more here

God I hope she is right. I see these thugs on the news. They Don’t respect our laws coming in. They are not going to respect our laws if they get in.
Get ready for more activist judges to be blocking any moves to stop this. Also there is hardly any talk about the 40-50 million already here. How many years have we been begging for e-verify?
I think Ryan has been dragging his feet about leaving just so he could block any moves to seal the border. He’s been payed well by the big business interests in DC and they’ve got their moneys worth.
Register each of them
Transport each to their US congressional “sponsor”, or bleeding heart media personality, or Hollywood socialist.
Let the left put their money, family, and property where their mouths have gone.
Shoot the reporters and lawyers first, the rest will take care of themselves.
If use of deadly force is authorized at Area 51 why not do the same at the border?
I just read in an article somewhere the same thing about these illegals will be claiming they are refugees.
The article went on to say that no matter what we think about these 800 soldiers, there’s very little the soldiers can do other than work with the appropriate agencies. That means in so many words –they’re getting in.
Forget all the bullshirt. Let’s just wait and see what happens.
I’ll be shocked if most of those parasites aren’t allowed in.

I heard somewhere that they have to ask for asylum in the first country they get to. They refused asylum in Mexico. Hopefully they can’t make that claim here.
