Epoch Times: WASHINGTON—A top House Democrat on Friday issued subpoenas for six years of President Donald Trump’s tax returns, giving Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig a deadline of next Friday to deliver them.
Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal, D-Mass., issued the subpoenas days after Mnuchin refused to comply with demands to turn over Trump’s returns. Mnuchin told the panel he wouldn’t provide Trump’s tax records because the panel’s request “lacks a legitimate legislative purpose,” as Supreme Court precedent requires.
Neal reminded the two Trump appointees in a Friday letter that federal law states that the IRS “shall furnish” the tax returns of any individual upon the request of the chairmen of Congress’ tax-writing committees and that Ways and Means “has never been denied” a request.
The White House and the Democratic-controlled House are waging a multi-front battle over investigations into Trump, with subpoenas for the unredacted report by special counsel Robert Mueller and documents related to the testimony by former White House Counsel Donald McGahn.
Unless or until we do the same to them, the democrats will just keep getting bolder. The RINOs just sit back and watch, or worse, go after other republicans. And as usual, results are completely ignored. The fact that the economy is booming is of no importance, or seen as a set back by our deep state.
They will hold Mnuchin (and others) in contempt, and then in the 2020 campaign will say “x number of the Trump administration are in contempt! The most corrupt administration EVER!!!” Their purported excuse for the subpoena is laughable; let them take their case to the supremes. That will be funny.
It’s past time for Trump to start playing offense. A good start would be to release all the declassified FISA documents. Second move is to ask how in the hell these congresscritters have accumulated such vast wealth and demand that they too need to release their tax returns. The TRAITOROUS BASTARDS in congress need to start racking up some losses or they will never stop this harassment.
Too bad these sonsofbitches aren’t forced to pay for their own fishing expeditions.
Richie Neal has never had a real job in his life; sure, he’s a failed attorney who turned to politics as so many failed lawyers do, but the majority of his ‘working’ life he has been at the public trough. He has been a rubber stamp for the Marxist agendas of the Democrat leadership; he has no signal legislative accomplishment(s). His partisan attack on the president is his “fifteen minutes of fame.”

This House is not going to pass any bills that become law. They know that. Their only goal is to harass the president. He knows that. He has the law (and the AG and Supreme Court) on his side, and will focus on other avenues while availing himself of the PR opportunity.
The Demonrats extra-legal, extra-Constitutional, Star-Chamber, Soviet-Style attacks will, not only continue, but increase in frequency as the elections approach.
Their agenda is anathematic to America, our Constitution, and civilization – and they know it – that’s why they’re not trying to sell it, but trying to IMPOSE it by judicial fiat.
The AXIS is quite clear – the Media, Academia, the Foundations, the Political Class, Wall Street, Madison Avenue, Hollyweird, the Legal Guilds, and the Unions are arrayed against America, Americanism, and our Constitution – a formidable force against a people whose only uniting factor is the belief in Limited Government, Liberty, Freedom, and Personal Responsibility.
At some point, if We, the People of the United States, are going to survive this onslaught, we must be prepared to unite in a less philosophical sense.

The Left isn’t going to quit, even if he were to leave office for some reason they would continue pursuing him until he was either dead or in jail and even if he was dead they would still pursue his family.
If they can’t find anything to use against him, they just make it up.
