House GOP’s Conservative wing warns status quo not an option in next Congress

JTN

In a pointed message to leaders and lawmakers alike, the conservative wing of House Republicans is circulating a draft guide to new lawmakers urging them to hold out for radical change in the way Congress operates if the GOP wins control in the midterm elections.

“Republicans ran to fix Washington,” reads the memo from the House Freedom Caucus obtained by Just the News. “We cannot continue to govern in the same way that broke it.”

The seven-year-old caucus has grown in influence and size in recent years, giving rise to GOP stars such as former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, likely House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona and Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry, the current chairman of the caucus. It has long fought for fiscal discipline, law and order and massive reductions in federal agencies, budgets and regulations.

The caucus’ memo provides a stinging rebuke of the way former GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan and current Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi have run the House chamber, urging every new member to hold out for change, starting with leadership elections that will be held just days after the Nov. 8 elections. more

  1. “starting with leadership elections that will be held just days after the Nov. 8 elections”

    Indeed!

The Democrats will be holding leadership elections to re-enshrine Nancy as SOTH just after the November 8th elections!

    Ooopsie!

I wasn’t supposed to tell yet!

    My bad!

    *giggle!*

  2. By God I hope they can get the establishment reprobates under control. The filthy sonsabitches never keep their word and conceding honesty to them is about as rational as expecting the sun to rise in the west. Get them the hell out of any leadership positions or they will rat fuck the whole effort sure as I’m sitting here.

  3. I see some good things beginning to happen but taking on the status quo operation will take more grit than I have ever seen in elected officials Republicans especially included.

  4. About 95% of what the Congress has passed for the last 110 years (FED anniversary next year) is unconstitutional. And the Republicans supported most of it.

Gut the government – and yourselves.

  5. First on the agenda, de-fund the DOJ, FBI, CIA, NSA. The coup is using them as an enforcement tool against it’s enemies. Steve Bannon their most recent victim. Look what they’re trying to do to Trump. Next on their list, Musk. They need to be stopped.

  6. Dump McCarthy as GOP leader, appoint House committee members by voting record, not longevity.
NO negotiation ! Stand Firm. Shut it down. Nothing will pass the House or Senate, neither chamber can override a Presidential Veto.

  7. I won’t donate to the Republicrat Party until they jettison the likes of McConnell, McCarthy, Mittens, Cheney, Murkowski, Murry, and a host of other traitors.

  8. But I don’t expect much – the Republicrats are a bunch of weak-kneed, simpering, grasping, corrupt cowards – for the most part.

  9. “Conservative wing” my ass. There is a democrap wing and a repube wing, 2 wings on the same bird to give you the illusion of choice.

At most, there might be a conservative feather. But take my word for it, there is only ONE major party in the FUSA, that is the UNI-PARTY.

A question for the nubes: If the above seems like too much to fathom, for you, ask yourself “How come the repubes didn’t sink oblowme care when they had the majority?

  10. If the communists are unable to steal the majority of the elections for house and senate there will be a narrow window of opportunity for change. Longer ‘serving’ GOP members who are ‘all four feet in the trough’ will oppose any change vehemently. The difficulty the new members face is retaliation from established denizens of the GOP corruptocracy. The new members will have to dispense with the old political niceties and make bawlingly public every action to obstruct cleanup by whatever member(s) may so obstruct.

  11. Whatever the outcome of this election I am encouraged because people are waking up, waking up and watching.
Cheating is going to get harder the majority of Citizens are getting tired of watching this country get torn apart and trashed by the left. I believe America is rising and changes are coming.
