DC
A group of House Republicans led by Colorado Rep. Ken Buck signed a pledge Wednesday saying they will oppose President Joe Biden’s administration bill to add an additional 87,000 IRS agents to the agency’s labor force.
The pledge, first obtained by the Daily Caller, has 19 original signers and remains open for members to sign. Republicans have expressed particular concern about the more than $80 billion in new funding for the IRS. Although Democrats claim the increased funding will lead to new federal revenue, allowing Congress to pay down the federal debt, GOP officials argue that middle-class and poorer Americans will face more audits. The funding will allow the agency to hire up to 87,000 new employees. more
Republicans sign pledge. Is that kinda like a sternly worded letter?
Instead of Covid-19 vaccine shots, Republicans are in greater need of Testosterone shots.
Pretty good at useless gestures, the controlled opposition is.
“increased funding will lead to new federal revenue, allowing Congress to pay down the federal debt”
Thanks, I needed a good laugh to start my day.
They should keep them and reassign them to the border patrol to protect the border and round up the illegals in this country. That would save more money in the long run.
Oooh… They’re signing a pledge… What next, memos? The GOP is sooo ready to stop the lawless democrats, aren’t they?
They just don’t get do they? And lets get the federal government involved in abortion again. WTF!!
The Democrats will collectively wipe their asses with it and hand it back. In fact, I’m not sure the Republicans didn’t do that before they sent it.
I’ve read article 3 times. Can not find Kev anywhere. Can anyone point me to the place where the “Bush Republican” aka “Bakersfield Bolshevik”‘s signature is
A pledge?
How does that compare with “Oath of office, to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States”?
Oh. different in an election year, I see.
One can always see the amateurs which Biden and the admin clownies are by their continuous stupid threats, harassments, and intimidations against the American people. MARKETING GURUS they ain’t.
