It took about fifteen minutes, a rat tail comb for back-combing and lifting, a good stiff hair spray, and a lot of hair pins….depending on how creative you wanted to get and how long your hair was, of course.
this is awesome. look at how proud the dude is – he somehow reproduced (despite being bald and all) though I suspect its his sister/daughter…think Chinatown…
The matching jackets make the picture.
Probably from the early 1970’s; and they may have been members of a Holiness Christian church, where women have long hair to follow scripture and wear it up on the head. In which case, they didn’t have to tease it to get volume. Most of us had to tease, or “rat”, our hair. – Most likely, the parents are by this time either very old or even deceased. – They all look fine.
These people have to be 70’s church people.
And….
I believe that is a boy not a girl.
Airport security would be so justified to search that hair.
And those look like cult jackets.
