Huge Cartel Marijuana Farm Bulldozed 300 Miles Inside California

PJM:

Tuesday morning illegal drug cartel workers in California’s Antelope Valley got a rude awakening complete with bulldozers, helicopters, and paddy wagons courtesy of the largest law enforcement operational raid in Los Angeles County history. FOXLA reports:

@BillFOXLA·Jun 8, 2021

U.S. Rep. Mike Garcia (R) is here with the Sheriff touring the grow, which is the largest in L.A. County with over 70 individual greenhouses. Sheriff Villanueva is ordering the grows to be bulldozed with equipment donated by the city of Lancaster. Biggest LASD operation ever.

The massive law enforcement effort included:  Rep. Mike Garcia (R-Calif.); Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva; multiple bureaus of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD);  the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA); the California Department of Fish and Wildlife; the Kern County Sheriff’s Office; the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department; the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department; the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department; and other state and local officials.

Nearly 500 law enforcement personnel worked in teams serving search warrants at numerous locations throughout the valley. Warrants yielded the seizure of five firearms and 23 individuals on various felonies and misdemeanor arrests — including one man who claimed to have come into the United States from the Mexican State of Sinaloa just last month. more

  1. There is so much marijuana being grown in California, cartel and otherwise, even backyards and community gardens, to think anything but a statewide, top to bottom, wildfire could make a slight bit of difference, is to think funny, as if a bong was consulted before the thinking.

  2. Got to be a legal drug cartel worker. The king pins want their revenue.

And boy do they mightily abuse the American people with taxes, and regulations here.

    To legally buy pot here:
And credit cards are only sometimes accepted.
There is a sales tax that is almost 10%.
There is an Excise tax which is higher than the sales tax.
There is an MBT tax which is slightly less than the sales tax.

And in some counties in America they now have a reparations tax.

  3. The growers were fined $50.00 for allowing this illegal pot farm. However, the workers were jailed and charged with felonies for failure to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

    Forget it Jake, it’s Chinatown.

  4. Incredible. The aerial view shows dozens of rows of greenhouses. Must have taken quite a while to build all of that. I can’t imagine how much reefer they were growing. Seems something like that would have been discovered fairly quick.

  5. As usual, the govt can’t compete in an open marketplace. People visit the pot shops, get sticker shock and go right back to their black market dealer. California expected $1 billion in tax revenue in the first year of legal pot sales but struggled to collect $300 million. Now they expend tax dollars to enforce their monopoly.

Cognitive dissonance..? or they waited to cash in on the harvest before the harvest.
