This has not been a very good week for the so-called Free Press. Between their slobbering defense of the indefensible Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and their running interference for that stupid slob Jerry Nadler, these purveyors of “facts first,” have traded in their journalism creds to play Human Shields.
And before you scroll down to the comments to say, “Well, duh, Dianny. We all knew that!” (come on, you know you were planning on doing that), the purpose of this post isn’t to break the news to you that the so-called “news” media have become Human Shields.
We know they are.
And that’s the point.
What strikes me about the latest examples of this transformation from “brave firefighter journalists” to human shields is how utterly oblivious these guys are that we know they’re doing it.
It’s like the Emperor’s New Clothes. They continue to parade around as if they’re brave defenders of the Free Press and unbiased, neutral purveyors of Truth – completely unaware that we can see for ourselves that they’ve chosen the form of Human Shields.
And they’re making utter morons of themselves.
Look at how far out on a limb these guys were willing to go to explain, justify and defend Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s hideous concentration camp gaffe.
