Hungary: Globalist pearl-clutching over Orban’s sweeping victory

American Thinker— If you judge Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his Fidesz party by their enemies, then their sweeping victory yesterday, winning a third term, was a triumph for good.  Reuters calls him a “strongman” in its report of his victory, a term usually reserved for undemocratic dictators.  The Associated Press settles for “conservative” as its headline adjective – no compliment in its lexicon, but accurate.  But the journalists are being outdone by globalist politicians in Western Europe.  more

  1. I confess I use Twitter, two accounts.

One is for honest news: I follow conservative people and organizations, like VoiceofEurope and Onlinemagazin.

The other is for entertainment only, strictly apolitical: I follow bird accounts. I have a small flock (cockatiel and parakeets) and enjoy sharing photos and information with people from all over the world. I had to block one bird account (from Australia) because they made globalist open-border, anti-sovereign remarks when the Trump administration first instituted the travel ban.

Now one account I follow from Budapest, commenting on their election:

“WTF is going on in my country, seriously?! I’m so dissapointed and desperate 😔 ”

and in response to a bird account from Connecticut…

“Exactly like Russia. Well, the ppl who live in Budapest want change. The ppl who live in rural areas (and in great poverty) think everything is fine. They are the xenophobe and racist majority. The situation is hopeless.”

Yup, apparently no matter where you are in this world, those people in flyover country are xenophobes and rayyycccccists!

    Flyover country blocking more accounts….
