Hypocrisy Cripples Georgia’s Religious Liberty Bill

AmericanThinker: I suppose none of us should be surprised that the apologists for homosexuality are also capable of rampant and unrepentant hypocrisy. Nevertheless, the duplicity recently on display in Georgia belongs in the hypocrisy hall of fame.

After the Supreme Court’s infamous Obergefell decision, and after previous efforts at a religious liberty bill failed, in order to protect its citizens from the militant homosexual agenda, legislators in Georgia felt renewed urgency to join over 30 other U.S. states which have similar religious liberty legislation or provisions.

The debate raged for months. Throughout this period, the media in Georgia was saturated with articles and commentary on how bad such legislation would be for the state.  MORE

  1. Our state legislature is populated by spineless scum! And the pathetic excuse for a governor, Nathan Deal, is even worse. They talk about standing up for the traditional principles that are supported by a large majority of GA citizens, but don’t have the backbone to actually do it when the rubber meets the road. To hell with the NFL and anyone else that wants to hold our morals that are clearly guaranteed by the 1st amendment against us

  2. We live in an era where new “rights” never explicitly written in the Constitution are inferred from it on a monthly basis while rights explicitly written in the Constitution are claimed not to exist.
