Seriously, though. Stay safe out there! We’ll be praying for you all. Even the Liberals. 😉
Florence remains Category 4 hurricane.
Track Florence HERE
And HERE [Zoom out, use Precipitation and satellite tabs]
Those of you in the path of the hurricane, please keep us updated on how your are doing.
Speak for yourself MJA… 🙂
Loco, you can be part of a tough crowd too. That smile emoji doesn’t fool everyone.
Note to GOP Reps and Senators and Governors in NC and SC: When the media and the Dems are screaming “Trump’s Katrina”, how about you not pile on? In fact, how about you stand by Trump?
And note to the media: Trump already dealt with a hurricane successfully. I know you’ve forgotten, but we haven’t.
Thirdtwin, we all know what’s coming.
“People of color hardest hit…”
“Florence is a white woman’s name…”
*Cue picture of lilly white Florence Henderson
We never used to have hurricanes before global warming
Another good site for weather maps and projections of precipitation and wind direction and force.

I had a great-aunt named Florence.
She was a real bitch…i pray the hurricane wont be the same.
Get an app called “Raindar” for your Android. I don’t think there is an Apple equivalent. It was created years ago, no ads, no tracking, just downloads radar data from Weather Underground. It lost Storm tracks a couple of years ago, but it still gives you what’s coming NOW, no delays or gaps. Once used it to beat a thunderstorm on the Potomac, just made it. Invaluable tool that used to be even better.
We’re out of the “cone of uncertainty” for now… Good luck to every East Coastie in the path of this.
Can’t hurt.
Knowing a storm like this will be affecting your life days before it arrives is a very strange thing to experience. Everything seems to happen in slow motion. Having been through the flooding of Hurricane Harvey and only recently completing the repairs to my home, I can’t begin to explain how it changes you. I was insured for wind damage but not for flooding. I am on the hook for about $140,000 to repair and replace what I lost and I got only thirteen inches in my home. Most people around me got from three to eight feet of water in their homes so I’m more fortunate than they are. Many of them can’t weather the financial burden placed on them and the difficulty of seeing my neighbors going through that has been the hardest thing I’ve had to deal with. I wish the best for the good people of North Carolina and pray for them to have the strength to persevere.
Oh, and one more small request. Hope you don’t mind me asking.
Please don’t destroy the beach house in Top Sail my family has reserved beginning Oct 5.
Cajun Navy headed to South Carolina.
Good and brave men.
It could be worse it could be called hurricane Flo just like that idiot babe on the Progressive Insurance commercials. I can’t stand her she is truly annoying.
I hear you Blink. We’re on the beach at Edisto Island the week of the 23rd of this month.
“We’ll be praying for you all. Even the Liberals.” Except for Al Gore. Need to stop there thinking of the list but it requires a PDF too long to post here,,,
