To someone like me that sees society itself and it’s institutions as the government of a free country and the state as simply a container that holds the government of society by protecting our individual rights the entire last hundred years have been a steady progression of shutting down the government and draining it of money.
I’ve said all along let it truly shut down. everything end to end.
Then have a serious national discussion as to what needs started up again. There are hundreds of programs and depts. that the only folks who would notice that they were not functioning would be those employed there, and I bet some of them would not even notice.
Of course this won’t happen because gov’t employees know that most would not be missed.
I have videos of some gov’t workers “at work.”
Pretty funny shit.
What if they gave a government shutdown and nobody noticed?
The only people that will notice will be the free loaders. The working people will be too busy working and supporting the freeloaders to even care.
