Townhall: If you didn’t watch President Obama’s invite-only “town hall” event on CNN last night, you’d actually find that there were some participants who favored strong Second Amendment rights.
Kris Jacob, vice president of the American Firearms Retailers Association, and Taya Kyle, the wife of the late American war hero Chris Kyle, were called on to ask questions. Yet, a rather emotionally charged question came from a rape survivor, Kimberly Corban, who is now a mother of two, and asked why didn’t the president see that, his gun control agenda was actually making it harder to protect her family: more
Fear not, young lady…
When seconds matter….The police are only minutes away.
Tell Barky to dis-arm his entire SS, and the entire DC police department, then we’ll talk.
I’d venture to guess that the you tube videos of the Taya Kyle and Kimberly Corban cnn segments got more viewers than the entire cnn showing.
Obumbles does not care about protecting people, he’s interested in leaving you defenseless.
If he cared about protecting people from mass shootings, as happened in San Bernardino, he would answer why his administration had a policy that prohibited looking at social media post made by people who want to enter the USA. That policy allowed the Moslem female killer into the country.
Iow – he would expand background checks on people who want to immigrate to America instead of expanding background checks on law abiding native citizens.
So president stompy-pants replies to this woman with (and I quote from the transcript), “I just want to repeat that there’s nothing that we’ve proposed that would make it harder for you to purchase a firearm.”
Later in that very same program, he states, “But what will at least be consistent across the country is that it’s a little bit harder to get a gun.”
This guy can’t even keep his story straight during the same program.
