Idiot: Virginia Candidate Terry McAuliffe(D) Showcases Florida Workers in Campaign Ad

WFB: Virginia’s Democratic gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe released a new ad promoting his goal of “growing Virginia’s economy”—but the workers pictured in the ad are in Florida.

The new ad from McAuliffe, who is running for his second term as governor, includes stock footage sold by Getty Images of a diverse pair of workers in Florida, a Washington Free Beacon investigation found. The “workers walking through metal fabrication shop stock video” was shot in Florida in February 2019 and can be purchased for $170.

The McAuliffe campaign declined to comment on the attempt to pass off Florida workers as Virginians. more

  1. McAwful did something even worse than picking the wrong photo. He picked a campaign team so dumb that they don’t know basic geography AND they don’t know how to check their work. But what do you expect from people with participation awards only, and who are proud of them?

  2. That’s because workers in Florida are working, unlike in Virginia which is discouraging such activity with payments to nonworkers and vax mandates on workers.

Maybe we should vote to move to Florida.

  3. Just another recycled bullshit Democrat. If the people of Virginia were dumb enough to elect Northam as Governor, I do not have any sympathy for them if they elect this moron to lead their state.
