  1. Vehicular idiots are hard to miss when they head straight for you.
(based upon personal experience with young vehicular idiots)

But to be fair, idiots come in all ages, shapes, sizes and colors.
    They are everywhere.

The only differences between the less lethal garden variety idiots is the vehicular idiot have a much shorter life span.

going to DIE! in a violent crash complete

cab driver & I became good friends. He was waiting
at the hotel every morning for me to come out.
He would hail me with CLEAN-TON back when Monica

what a few small tips can do in foreign countries…

  3. In just about every case, people seem to be driving TOO fast for conditions. Plus they aren’t paying attention to the traffic flows. If there’s break lights ahead in the parallel lane, maybe it’s a good idea to SLOW down and prepare to stop? Losing your life or wrecking your car, just to have ‘the right of way’, doesn’t make sense.

  4. Thank goodness we have those “self-driving” cars so’s ya don’t gotzta pay no tension.

I love that commercial with the dude looking back over his shoulder (while driving) and almost runs into the back of a stopped truck (his vehicle brakes for him).
Fuckin moron shouldn’t be on the road! Shouldn’t have a license.
Why are we making it easier for idiots?

    Oh, yeah … demonrats … sorry …

Unfortunately with quite a few of today’s drivers, they are willing to risk life and limb for that. Just last week my wife and I are driving down a 2 lane county highway, very busy, speed limit is 50. As we round a corner, we see about 1/2 mile up the road an asshat in a pickup truck trying to race around 5-6 cars to get ahead of them. Double lines in the road be damned. I went from 50 to 10 cause if I had kept going at the speed limit, I would not be typing this right now, I’d probably be dead or still in the hospital.

Cause the asshat finally got to the front about 5-6 car lengths in front of me, even after I had slowed down. I had no ditch to drive off into, unlike the guy in the video.

  6. Our daughter just attended B.R.A.K.E.S. defensive driving school for teen drivers. If you have the opportunity to send your kid, do it! Classroom and practical instruction to teach them about situations like these shown. They spent the majority of the time in a car on a range. No, it isn’t exactly like being in traffic. But, they will know how a skid feels and have been told how to correct it. They will know how hard they can slam on the brakes and how the ABS feels when it engages. They will have practiced hitting the brakes and swerving.

It made me anxious just watching this video!

  7. Squirrel!: Airbags not required by law in that jurisdiction, OR insufficient acceleration seen by the airbag control module (ACM) to deploy the bags.

NOTE: Bicycles being ridden DO NOT have the right-of-way in a crosswalk; crosswalks are for pedestrians. A pedestrian walking a bike in a crosswalk does have the right-of-way. If the vehicle in the video was proceeding through the intersection on a green lens, then the bicyclist has passed the red lens and should be cited.

  8. Watching these videos is a guilty pleasure for me, although I tend to focus on the ones from the US and Canada (the ones from the rest of the world are insane).

Funny thing is how many of these videos show somebody continuing to drive at full speed even though someone is dangerously going to cut in front of them (or other dangerous maneuver), then the person with the dash cam complains about how stupid the other driver is. It is scary how many people do not realize that it is their job to do what they can to avoid accidents, not just not to cause them
