What about other cartoon cats like Jinx who hated meeces (Pixie and Dixie) to pieces. And the worst cat of all, Fat Freddies cat. And my personal favorite Krazy Kat.

How was F. Frederick Skitty a bad cat? He was certainly a cattish cat but he never seemed a bad cat.

krazy kat lives in my house….calls himself “snarf” these days, and he’s as scruffy as ever….he misses ignatz…..sigh…..

And Offisa Pup of course. Krazy Kat was the Calvin and Hobbes, Pogo and Lil Abner combined of its day with its surreal drawings and humor. They don’t make many good comic strips today like Krazy Kat. I wanted to name my cat Ignatz, Iggy for short but didn’t. The only other Ignatz that mattered was the big fat slob Ignatz O’Reilly in the great American novel A Confederacy of Dunces, one of the funniest and vulgar books ever written.
