Beyond the hilarious math incompetence, the other interesting point is that those two dummies and the dummies behind the scenes who prepped the graphic thought this could be a life changer for a few people. if everybody actually did get a million dollars of Bloomberg’s money – would everybody suddenly be rich? Of course not. The value of goods in our supply and demand world would skyrocket. Suddenly, anyone with just a million dollars would be below the poverty line. Somebody has to be poor in our country.
Remember who their target audience is. That should explain the math.

In America, you have to be a fuckin retard (whether by nature or by drugs or what-not) to be “poor.” Welfare pays the equivalent of some $60,000/yr in some regions. So, being “poor” is more of a choice (yes, there are the halt, the lame, the insane, and the mentally retarded who are seriously unable to navigate the welfare bureaucracy) especially when we have to import rat-people to pick beans, arugula, peaches, cabbage, and watermelons.
