If You Know Anyone with a Timeshare, They Need to Know What the Cartel Is Doing

GP:
Mexican cartels are continuing to show a willingness to stoop to any level of crime if it means more money for their criminal empires.

Alongside their usuals of drug and human trafficking, certain cartels are beginning to target the elderly population in America with timeshare scams that are estimated to be earning millions.

As reported by USA Today, following an investigation by the U.S. government, thousands of Americans have begun falling for these telemarketing scams.

The Jalisco New Generation Cartel, or CJNG, began the timeshare fraud in Puerto Vallarta and has since expanded to take a considerable portion of the Cancún timeshares. more

  1. Notice these are only in Mexico.
A country that is riddled with fraud.
We own 2 but here in Maine.
It’s quite easy to get info on real estate ownership.
Just go to a city’s site and go to the section to look up and pay property taxes.

  2. “are continuing to show a willingness to stoop to any level of crime if it means more money for their criminal empires.”

Describing the Bidens in particular and the Democrats in general to a tee.

The only difference I can see between the two is this; The cartels operate outside the law, where the Democrats have the imprimatur of legitimacy, using the law to provide cover, and as a tool to further their own interests.

“Now that is a SNL skit! A couple of guys with tats all up their face, trying to convince an elderly couple that they should invest.”

Evil would be easy to avoid if it always wore its true face. Why use your enforcers when a fast talking guy and a cute girl can do it without wetwork?

  4. My wife and I went to one of the timeshares get togethers at the Coeur d’ Alene resort once and got a free dinner and a bs speech about buying a timeshare. We didn’t bite but we got a nice down comforter out of it just for listening to their bs. And we never went to another one again. Time share scammers are worse than Scamway MLM marketers, I have no use for either. And yes, my church had its share of these MLM scammers at times until they were found out and moved to another church for more suckers.

  5. I went to a timeshare scam shakedown at Hot Springs Village many years ago. They gave me $50 for gas (when gas was $1 a gallon), three free nights in a very nice condo and a free B&W TV just to listen to their ‘presentation’. I thought they were about to put a gun to my head to make me commit at one point, but those goofy bastards didn’t know who they were messing with. I left with them screaming obscenities at me while I smiled and collected my free TV which I sold for $50. I still laugh about it.
