The translations have Omar saying she and her fellow Somalis are Somali first and Muslim second–with no mention of being American. The only reason she was elected was because Obama brought Somalias to Minnesota and they all located to her district. Once they became a majority, she was elected. I used to work in her district long before Obama and it was a very old, established Jewish area.
