‘I’m Not a Doctor, But I Recognize Bullsh-t When I Hear It’

The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic convened on Thursday to commence the first part of its hearing series titled “Assessing America’s Vaccine Safety Systems, Part One.” Chaired by Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio), the hearing aimed to dissect the effectiveness of vaccine safety reporting, injury response, and compensation mechanisms post the contentious COVID-19 vaccine distribution.

  1. I wish more of our elected officials would adopt this strategy.

It drives me crazy when witnesses in front of Congress lie, obfuscate and filibuster. Start your time with ,”I’m not going to ask you any questions, mainly because I have zero confidence that I would get a straight answer”, and then launch into your attack exposing their duplicity. If they want to respond, let them do it on the Democrat’s time.

  2. I recognize bullshit too but I call it politicians. I’ve got zero confidence in anybody.
As an example Senator Kennedy from Louisiana. Talks a great game with terrific one liners but the next thing you know he’s voting with McConnell and Democrats.

  3. Just drove by the taco bell. As long as there is a 50 long line of autos idling, waiting to pay God knows how much for slop….then I have no hope. How are these sort of “citizens” every going to care about anything outside their little bubble?

  4. different tim. I can’t find the article but when Kennedy voted for the bill you referenced he already knew it was dead in the water when it came back to the house. he was just expediting the process. I can’t find the article though

MTG was well off before she entered Congress. She and her husband are majority holders in her dad’s lucrative construction business, she sold her CrossFit gym at a huge profit, she (the family) own many rental properties, and they are active stock investors including crypto.

Pursuing wealth (in a capitalist society) should be encouraged, not frowned on and TBH, I much prefer someone who made something of themselves before elected office as opposed to some dead beat bartender from Brooklyn.
