8. We need to reduce our carbon to zero to ensure subduction and mid-ocean ridges continue as they have for billions of years. Man made carbon, that’s killing the planet, obviously halts this process.

16. What this shows is that there are cycles. The seabed is created and destroyed as part of a cycle. Very likely there is a carbon cycle where carbon is buried and released. You could probably have a doomsday cult worrying that all the carbon will eventually be trapped underground/
