Interview: Marjorie Taylor Greene shrugs, Democrats ‘are helping me’

Washington Examiner: Taking a “go ahead, make my day” approach, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene today shot back at Democrats planning to force her off House committees for past controversial statements, declaring it will free her up to go on a national tour to help fill the House with conservatives.

“How stupid they are,” Greene told Secrets before Democrats on the House Rules Committee voted to move forward with plans to strip her membership on two panels. “They don’t even realize they’re helping me. I’m pretty amazed at how dumb they are,” added the first-term member.

Instead of being worried about losing her seat on the education and budget panels, the Republican bomb thrower said she is eager to step up her fight against Democrats and Republicans she views as centrists, including the GOP leadership.

“I think Republicans need to get back to who they are, and they need to stop talking and actually doing,” she said. “And [House Minority Leader] Kevin McCarthy and all these leaders, the leadership, and everyone is proving that they are all talk and not about action, and they’re just all about doing business as usual in Washington. And so, what’s the difference between them and the Democrats? There isn’t a difference,” said Greene. more here

  1. …she blew all her cred by useless apologizing to unforgiving scumbags when she SHOULD have defended the right of EVERY AMERICAN to have and express their OWN opinion just like the First Amendment says. She’s done from BOTH sides now.

    FAIL.

  2. I know ‘MTG’ is a controversial figure, and I have seen lots of articles saying she made ‘antisemitic’ remarks, QAnon conspiracy, 9-11 truther,…
I am trying to find details, and while she certainly is pushing the envelope I am not seeing a whole lot. I know she disavowed her earlier 9-11 comments which would confirm that she had that conspiracy theory at one time. Most of the rest is stuff that I may not say out loud but with which I don’t necessarily disagree. Ilhan Omar marrying her brother… I never followed QAnon, but what I saw was simply links to actual articles and information which was largely valid. Is there a list of what supposedly makes MTG so horrible?

  3. Go, Ms. Greene! I can get behind her, and I’ll send my donations straight to her. No more support for the Uni-party. Although, I have to say, I don’t see how “elections” are going to make any difference going forward unless the current system is broken.

  4. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is proving that there should be no committees in congress. No committee hearings are needed because they do not have any authority. Disband all committees, establish term limits, make all legislator positions part-time with no bennies and have them assemble briefly each year to address the nation’s business is what this country needs.

  5. Can’t believe she made the monumental mistake of apologizing.

She still got stripped of committees, and the republican legislators who all back liz cheney being in leadership still hate her.

It’s reported that the republican caucus gave her a standing ovation. What the ‘reports’ don’t say, is that it is because she apologized. (groveled to them)

So liz cheney and her friends still run leadership, greene is off all committees, and people like adam schiff are free to continuee telling lies about evidence of crimes that they possess of trump/russia collusion, and everyone is happy.

    EXcept republican voters.

You know all this talk about ‘stakeholder capitalism’?
    There is stakeholder politics.

The dems are demanding stakeholder capitalism while they refuse to practice stakeholder politics. Anyone doesn’t like their leftist policies can get fked.

The republicans practice stakeholder politics. They don’t think their voters should be the sole beneficiary of their policies. They think that their corporate donors, the washington post, the dems in congress, the faggots on twitter, etc, should all have a say in how the republican party operates.

A republican voter has got to be a nut to stick with the republcian party.
