  1. “Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that U.S. President Donald Trump had not passed on any secrets to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a meeting in Washington last week and that he could prove it.

    Speaking at a news conference alongside Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni in the Black Sea resort of Sochi, Putin quipped that Lavrov was remiss for not passing on what he made clear he believed were non-existent secrets.

    “I spoke to him (Lavrov) today,” said Putin with a smile. “I’ll be forced to issue him with a reprimand because he did not share these secrets with us. Not with me, nor with representatives of Russia’s intelligence services. It was very bad of him.”

    Putin, who said Moscow rated Lavrov’s meeting with Trump “highly,” said Russia was ready to hand a transcript of Trump’s meeting with Lavrov over to U.S. lawmakers if that would help reassure them.

    A Kremlin aide, Yuri Ushakov, later told reporters that Moscow had in its possession a written record of the conversation, not an audio recording. […]

  2. Blood and destruction shall be so in use
    And dreadful objects so familiar
    That mothers shall but smile when they behold
    Their infants quarter’d by the hands of Planned Parenthood;
    All pity choked with custom of fell deeds:
    And Trump’s spirit, ranging for revenge,
    With Pence by his side come hot from hell,
    Shall in these confines with a president’s voice
    Cry ‘Havoc,’ and let slip the dogs of war;
    That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
    With carrion men, groaning for burial.

  3. I heard that the PI was hired by a third party, but he had an agreement with the Rich family not to disclose details to the public. This would seem to be a breach of such a contract. Maybe he had to go public for his own life insurance.

  4. I could see where a PI could make up stuff for various reasons – keep the paychecks rolling in, make a name for yourself, etc.

    On the other hand, I could see where the Democrat party could put a hit on a leaker, and this PI is slowly uncovering it – it doesn’t look like the FBI will. You shoot a leaker, and no one else leaks. Capiche?

  5. Assuming it was a planned hit–and why not?–they appear to have used a rank amateur.

    Lots of unanswered questions that are conspicuously not (yet) publicly asked.
    Lots of inconsistencies. Doesn’t fit the neighborhood, nor the typical D.C. Street robbery profile.
    If true, the massive leak to Assange cinched it. Political hit, not implausible “robbery gone wrong”.

    The Dems want a Special Prosecutor? Let’s appoint one for Seth Rich murder/DNC/Podesta and see where it leads.
