Iowa: Republicans Flip House District in Area Held by Democrats for 46 Years

GP: Republicans Tuesday night flipped an Iowa House district in an area held by Democrats for 46 years.

Republican Jon Dunwell defeated Democrat Steve Mullan in a special election – the second state legislative flip for the GOP this year.

“Thank you, Jasper County, for putting your faith in me to be your voice in the Iowa Statehouse,” Jon Dunwell said in the statement. “Throughout this campaign, I have had the honor of hearing from so many of you — those who agreed with me and those who offered opposing viewpoints. I have learned so much and am eager to get to work representing each and every one of you.” more here

  1. They can’t steal every race, that’s really pushing it.

Also TPTB might have figured that this one was going to be a win for the dems and didn’t have the plan in place.

It kills me when I read that REgressives are going to get shellacked in the midterms.

  2. Switch a red rat for a blue one, who GAF?

Conservative Americans have had essentially no representation for decades.
Mandatory term limits and legions of prosecutions that are long overdue—THAT would be newsworthy!

  3. Stop the steal, I demand a recount then audit, stolen election, the voting machines were tampered with over the internet by a foreign country, the mfer’s should be hanged, we’re gonna storm their capital building & demand they put our candidate who clearly as the winner in office.
