WaEngager: I understand that each country has its own morals and customs, but this situation makes no sense.
A Nigerian woman in Iraq was rescued when she attempted to take her own life. In a strange twist, Iraqi officials are now sentencing her to death by beating for her suicide attempt.
So, whether they rescued her or not, she’s still being condemned to death? Again, makes absolutely zero sense. more here
Morality in Muslim countries rarely exists, whether it relates to suicide, incest, pedophilia, beastiality, honor killings, killing infidels, slavery, divorce, stoning women who were raped, sexism by approval of clothing, face coverings, travel, freedom of speech, total submission etc., etc.
Islam is based upon a false religion established by a murdering pedophile, false prophet, morality was and is a limited concept.
World domination appears to be the thrust of Islam, not Morality.
Right out of Babylon – as in the Babylon Bee!
… or maybe Monty Python…
“But I’m not dead yet.” BONK! b
What a backwards culture. Counter to everything I learned in a Judeo-Christian culture.
I’ve helped rescue attempted suicides on multiple occasions, many people I did not know and some that I did.
The point of trying to prevent a successful suicide is to give the person a second chance. And some people actually make a new life with one. Some even find their peace in the Lord.
And that’s the point in rescuing them.
Christianity is a religion of second chances.
Islam most certainly is NOT.
…I suspect this will end up being some sort of slavery issue. That’s something ELSE Islam is known for.
…Sure am glad we worked so hard in that country.
And isn’t it great that we keep inviting more into THIS one…/s
Many societies, at one time or another, punished suicides and/or suicide attempts. It seems to be a control issue – suicide is the ultimate expression of individual control, and this cannot be condoned by many governments.
For the record, I am not in favor of legalized suicide, or euthanasia for those who prefer the politically correct term. But people who attempt suicide need help because, if for no other reason, they do not appreciate the trauma this act imposes on family and friends.
How dare she make her own decisions. Oh, they will let her die, just suffer before it’s over.

Aren’t you late for your gay sexcapade in the Capitol rotunda?
The Almighty State wielding its power: “You will not decide how you die, your rulers will.”
Already here to some degree.
“Are we sure SNS isn’t Brian Williams?”
Naaah, can’t be; the comments aren’t long enough.

Stone Age, uncivilized, cold-hearted bastards.
Killing someone to show the people that suicide is wrong. Not very smart, Iraq.
