  1. Got mine. Bought gold at $1,740 an ounce. Today gold is $3,240.

Remember: that’s as much a statement on the loss of dollar purchasing power as it is on anything else.

  2. A wise man once said that the price of Gold never changes.
You are actually seeing the values of Dollars, Euros, Yuan, and all those little shit-currencies.

I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I DO KNOW that I’d rather have Gold than NOT have it.

  3. I got 2 letters that I was getting one. Never got one.
I’m sure whoever got it (if it actually even existed) cashed it and I’ll probably get an official document asking me why I didn’t claim the check I never got and probably never existed.

  4. I never applied for it. I never applied for the PPP bullshit either. It drives me nuts that the government spends so much of our money trying to buy more votes. I know people have a hard time saying no to what appears to be free money, but just think what would happen if everyone said no.

  5. The letters I received was the first I had heard of any of it. I never applied for anything either. Didn’t want it. I’m creeped out about the “you’re getting money!” and then “It’ll be there in 4 weeks if you didn’t already get it” letters.

I don’t want to pay the tax on any check. They can say “tax free” all they like. It ain’t.
