  1. BFH …do you really think they would be upright? I doubt it even if those are ligaments. I don’t think those are ligaments I think it is wired. It is probably a fraud or underwater theme park.

  2. ….the feet that keep washing up on the west coast ..in fashionable running shoes …those ligaments failed while the flesh was still on the bones.

I stand by my initial call.

  3. Yeah Gen.P.Malaise see? the cruciate ligaments are intact, see? And Freeman there is plenty of cement to hold down a 150 lb body. An’ besides I know a leg when I see one. An’ they are two effin’ legs in cement, in water. It may be the Delaware River though. Not sure.

  4. I agree that it’s fake.

For one thing, the round “cement” thing isn’t nearly big enough to accommodate the feet that would go with those tibiae.

  5. Safe bet it’s river water (fresh or brackish). Human legs posterior views (note metatarsals in front outside the cement.

On one hand, the Titanic victims’ bones were dissolved after 100 years under two miles of salt water. On the other, perfectly preserved human remains, hundreds of years old, have been discovered in Britain’s (fresh water) bogs.

  6. good observation old_oaks

Interesting how the cement took up the space of the once live tissue.

yet people really want to believe the picture is real. also the victim had very small feet.
