Jerry Brown STOLE $84 Million From Feds for Boondoggle Water Project

CPR: Finally an audit proves how corrupt Jerry Brown is.  The people of Ohio, Vermont and Wyoming need to demand their money back.  His boondoggle of a twin tunnel plan—no new water, just a payoff to unions and crony capitalists is going to cost “$16 billion”—the real cost is closer to $68 billion.

“The U.S. government improperly spent $84 million to help plan for a massive project to ship Northern California water to Southern California, a new federal audit said.

Federal officials gave the taxpayer money to help finance Gov. Jerry Brown’s plans to build two giant water tunnels, according to the audit by the inspector general’s office of the U.S. Interior Department obtained by The Associated Press on Friday.

The audit says California water districts and not federal taxpayers were supposed to bear the costs of the $16 billion project.

Now that he is caught, will be repay the money stolen from the people of this nation?  “Asked if auditors wanted contractors to repay the money, Interior spokeswoman Nancy DiPaolo said, “We certainly hope so.”

That decision was up to California, she said.”

Since when do bank robbers get the choice of returning the stolen money?  Why is California corrupt—look at the head.  MORE

  1. If the federal prinxesses drop a few millions of “not really the peasants'” money on one of their fiefdoms, that really, really, really, delivers the vote for the federal prinxesses, that’s not theft. That’s patronage. That’s loyalty. And the laws don’t apply to federal prinxesses. They even wrote that into the laws.

  2. jeffie sessions will get right on it, right after he finds that missing ball. I know where he shouldn’t look- wasted time there.
Why is so much corruption tolerated in our country?
