John Brennan Defender, Former Admiral William McRaven Leaves Pentagon Advisory Role

Pfft! Bye!

Daily Caller: The former admiral behind the celebrated military operation that killed terrorist leader Osama bin Laden reportedly left his defense advisory role after criticizing President Donald Trump.

As Fox News reports, William McRaven left the Defense Innovation Board (DIB) on Aug. 20, not long after he wrote a Washington Post op ed arguing that Trump should not have revoked the security clearance of  former CIA Director John Brennan because the action “embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, humiliated us on the world stage and, worst of all, divided us as a nation.”

The piece appeared under the headline, “Revoke my security clearance, too, Mr. President.”  more here

  1. He might’ve written a semi successful book, “Make Your Bed”, but he needs a primer in How To Get Along With Others.

His short stint as Chancellor U of TX wasn’t quite as successful as the Admiral would have us believe. After overspending in questionable land deals, he was “allowed to take early leave” of his contract.

Another puffed up blow hard, seemingly impressed by his own self importance v actual accomplishments.

He is a “Froggy” – not “Black Shoe Navy”! I doubt have spent any time running a ship.

I have/had 6 friends who were/are “Froggies” I love ’em all. All good men! all smart, brave and hard working – things I have admired for 75 years. Cliff died fighting the ChiCom 9/63! “Death Before Dishonor!”!
