John Fetterman May Vote to Confirm  Dr. Mehmet Oz for administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

GP: The different drum to which Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania marches is beating out a tune that liberals hate to hear.

Fetterman’s reaction was sought after President-elect Donald Trump said he would nominate Dr. Mehmet Oz, whom Fetterman defeated in a bruising 2002 U.S. Senate race, to become administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

The post requires Senate confirmation.

“If Dr. Oz is about protecting and preserving Medicare and Medicaid, I’m voting for the dude,” Fetterman said in a post on X. MORE

  1. Fetterman will vote to confirm Oz until the rest of the Democrats physically beat him on his head until he forgets who he is again then claim it was a relapse from his stroke.

  2. I disagree with many, and perhaps most of the policies Senator Fetterman promotes. However, he apparently makes his own decisions in accordance with what his constituents want and votes accordingly. I admire that because that is what an elected member of Congress is supposed to do.

  3. I really don’t know very much about Oz, but what little I’ve seen of him on the tee vee doesn’t impress me at all. It seems like his political sensibilities are mixed at best. And I don’t know what would qualify him for this position.

  4. May all the demonrats in congress be forced to suffer the same “stroke” that Fetterman had. Fetterman appears to be the only person in the history of politics whose brain function IMPROVED after a brain injury.
