I just watched the Town Hall with POTUS Trump on Fox in Scranton, PA. When asked about the fake impeachment, Trump remarked that Schumer should have been charged with something for reading his lies about the call with Zelensky into the Congressional record but that because he’s a senator, he is immune to any charges, but that he, Trump, believes that if you are an elected official you should be held to an even higher standard and the punishment should be even harsher.

14, really? Only 14? Where the hell are the other 38? If a Republican did this every damned communist/democrat in the Senate would have called for blood within an hour and 6 RINOs would have joined them already.
In lieu of criminal charges, I would be satisfied if Schmuckles were subjected to some good, old-fashioned humiliating corporal punishment.
Specifically, he should be forced to strip naked, bend over a saw horse, and be vigorously spanked (I’d prefer he be caned, actually) with 20 blows each from Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Justice Neil Gorsuch, Chief Justice Roberts, President Trump, and (what the heck, just for grins) Senator Ted Cruz.

I heard a lawyer call into Mark Levin’s show a couple of days ago about this issue. I do not recall the details, but his point was Schumer has some immunity from threats made within the senate, but since he made his threats on the steps of SCOTUS, he was not covered by that immunity.
And could face some negative consequences if someone in NY files the proper complaints against him. It may have only been disbarment, I doubt he cares about that as he never had a law practice. Judging he could hustle more money as a senator. But I really don’t recall the specifics of what the caller believed he could be charged with. ML also felt it is inappropriate for him to lobby for that action on his show, but seemed to agree the caller was correct about Schumer losing his immunity because of where he made the threat against the two justices.
