A federal judge on Tuesday sided with the White House in the battle over control of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, saying he wouldn’t stop the Trump administration from running the agency.
An Obama-era official, Leandra English, had sought to derail the administration’s assertion of control over the agency.
“The court will deny the request,” Judge Timothy J. Kelly, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, said from the bench.
Judge Kelly’s decision clears the way for White House budget chief Mick Mulvaney to continue serving as acting director of the CFPB while President Donald Trump finds a permanent replacement. Mr. Mulvaney on Tuesday spent his second day running the CFPB, following the departure of former Director Richard Cordray last week.

Another judge shot down the transgender military ban. Trump needs to keep getting conservative judges appointed to stop the judicial activism.
Another load of concrete was dumped into the swamp today, making it a little smaller by a judge’s ruling allowing Trump control of the CFPB. Here’s hoping & praying the Progressives can’t figure out a way to chisel away at it.

There was literally no other conclusion any judge with three working brain cells could conclude. Just imagine if the democrats found some idiot hack who actually upheld this notion of bureaucrats naming their succeeding agency heads. A GOP congress and president could simply expand that rule to all executive agencies and sandbag the next democrat president for years by dragging feet and putting their own people in “interim” command of all executive agencies.
It just amazes that democrats are too stupid to see that play.
People as dumb as English have no place in the government. Should have cleared out her desk over the weekend. She’s going to be one bitter and subversive bitch. Get rid of her.
Better yet, Judge – let her back in the building and use every method of surveillance on her and see what she tries to hide.
Either that, or deactivate her access card/code, set up an HD camera and live stream her frustrated attempts to enter the building, and let that fu<ker go viral.
