PM: In a court brief signed by Judge Aileen Cannon on Monday, she denied Special Counsel Jack Smith’s request to file documents in Trump classified documents case under seal.
Cannon wrote that Smith has moved to file under seal a “supplement” containing additional information “to facilitate the Court’s inquiry” into the case of Trump allegedly retaining classified documents.
“The Special Counsel states in conclusory terms that the supplement should be sealed from public view ‘to comport with grand jury secrecy,’ but the motion for leave and the supplement plainly fail to satisfy the burden of establishing a sufficient legal or factual basis to warrant sealing the motion and supplement,” Cannon wrote.
Cannon also requested information from prosecutors regarding the continued use of an out-of-state grand jury to investigate the case. more here

No surprise here, most likely they will appeal her ruling to the 11th District. This case could of ended up in 2 places, DC where said Top Secret Classified were illegal move from or Florida, where they were found.
Her,Cannon’s enexperience as a judge will most likely not work on her favor. Her mistakes will be overruled at the least.
