Post Millennial: A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge terminated the 13-year conservatorship effective immediately Friday.
On Friday, the conservatorship that has control over many aspects of famed singer Britney Spears‘ life, like her finances, personal life, and medical decisions, has finally come to an end after 13 years of its existence.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny has terminated Spears’ conservatorship effective immediately, according to Buzzfeed News.
“The time has come after more than a decade for the conservatorship to be terminated in its entirety,” Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, told the court.
Some actions are still pending though. In a court filing last week, Rosengart requested to depose Jamie Spears, and asked for materials related to the alleged surveillance of Britney Spears, highlighted in The New York Times documentary. more here
Not my type of music but she was abused on many levels.
Now though, out of the conservatorship, if she really is unstable & unable to manage her own life, the world will see it.
I hope she does well. (not a great family situation)
It does seem strange that such control would have continued on someone almost 40 years old.
However, since we now have a situation where the loser of a presidential election, who is apparently incapable of controlling himself, is supposed to be holding the most powerful political power in the world.
Why isn’t poopy pants Joe under such an order to prevent him from continuing to harm our once great republic?

The industry abused her more than her family, her family is the root cause. Now she is running to that industry like their her hero. Glad the family chain has been removed, however she will be dead in three years.
The only good her family did was keep her alive. Now, the industry will find more value in her death. So much insurance will be placed on her, see Michael Jackson. Her cause of death will be drugs.
