DML: According to reports coming out of Corpus Christi, a municipal court judge has been placed on unpaid leave after city officials learned she is not a U.S. citizen.
On Wednesday, City Councilman Rudy Garza Jr. told reporters the mishap took place because there is no question about an applicant’s citizenship on the application for appointment. Instead, the application documents merely asks the question if the applicant is legally eligible to work in the state.
Garza Jr. said it’s been verified that Young Min Burkett is legally eligible for employment in Texas. However, the state of Texas requires a judge to be a U.S. citizen, which she is not. read more
I’d be curious to know why her past rulings would not be invalid.
I don’t fault her, necessarily, for this. The city was negligent in their application process.
If she had ruled against me in a case I would definitely be contacting an attorney.

The minute she called herself a Chinese American was the minute that she announced that she is Chinese and not an American! Pull her green card (or yellow card) and send her back to China!

We thought getting the presidency and getting supreme court pick was the most important thing. So we could put gorsich or what ever his name is on the court instead of another shtface progressive.
But lo and behold, it means nothing. Nothing at all. Nothing in the least.
Because now the deep state has taken a new tactic, which is to just subvert the law at the federal judge and appelate level, and there’s nothing at all anyone can do to stop them. The supreme court can’t review every case, and it appears that they don’t even want to review any cases that might agitate the progressives.
So see? We lost.
Note: congress could also nip this tactic in the bud, but they’re the just as big of scumbags as the courts and they don’t want to. Even though they call themselves republicans.
