The Senate Judiciary Committee began the first of four days of confirmation hearings on Monday for President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
With Republican control of the Senate, Barrett is widely expected to be nominated to fill the seat left vacant with the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg last month.
As expected, Democrats on the Judiciary Committee used their allotted 10 minutes of time on opening day to grandstand and preach politics and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who was rocking a RBG pin, was no different, exploiting the occasion to campaign against President Donald Trump’s reelection while talking about the COVID-19 pandemic and white supremacy, among other things.
Unfortunately for the failed 2020 presidential candidate, she would be followed by Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., who offered Democrats an overdue civics lesson.
That’s nice. Everybody grandstands in their own way, I reckon. Just confirm her, please.

As usual, he had some good old country summary of the democrats. One included describing yesterday’s democrat show in terms of a manure spreader.

Klo-bitcher was rightfully villified surprisingly in the comments at the ultra liberal Mpls Tribune today.
Hopefully we can be rid of Klobuchar before she’s 85 and looks exactly like Feinstein.
