NBC10: Police in Delaware credited a K-9 officer for reuniting a missing 11-year-old boy with his family.
The boy ran away from his home along Highland Boulevard in the Sophia’s Place West community in New Castle after getting into a fight with his mom around 2:50 p.m. Sunday, said New Castle County Police.
Senior Corporal Chad Carter and his K-9 partner Ax arrived on the scene and quickly began searching for the child after Ax got the boy’s scent, said police.
Ax led investigators for about half a mile where they found the boy and returned him home safely, said police.
Nice! Much better use of the K-9.
The drug addled give K-9’s a bad rap, but those dogs do a lot more than just interfere with a drug addicts desire to fund murderous cartels.
Good doggy! Good boy!
Isn’t it amazing there are opportunities out there to raise a puppy in preparation for training as service dogs for shell shocked vets, and for visually impaired, and people with other handicaps. Look it up, there’s probably the opportunity in your geographical location.
what a good boy!
What a gorgeous dog! He looks very intelligent, too!
Some 11 year old needs his ass kicked
An 11 yo in Milwaukee would’ve shot the dog…
