Criticized at home by Republicans for not focusing enough on the Biden border crisis or visiting U.S.-Mexico border hot spots, Harris will address migration and refugees during her third international trip next week from Monday to Saturday.
At a meeting on Libya, the vice president will focus on the plight of migrants and refugees, said a senior administration official.
She will “be expressing a deep concern for human rights and the situation of migrants and refugees, and reinforce the imperative of protecting vulnerable people, including those fleeing conflict.” more

Pretty smart scheme, actually. They start out with massive stray voltage in the form of potential million dollar payouts to illegals inconvenienced by Trump. This plan is never announced by anyone specific in the WH, but it is reported as fact by the WSJ, and everybody is outraged.after couple of days, Biden is asked about these huge payouts, and he calls the report “garbage”.
Then a WH press flack “clarifies” that he meant the huge amount was garbage. Now we are talking about Biden’s cluelessness again, which is something we already knew, and the story is no longer about the insane payouts happening at all, but meek acceptance of payouts, as long as they’re not too much. And we still have no idea who is proposing or negotiating these payouts.
But the payouts are a done deal, and it only took a media cycle to condition everybody into accepting them. The only question is the amount, which is not really a question. It will still be ridiculously huge. And nobody in the media or Congress will ask who proposed this payout or where the money will come from. It will just magically happen. Like the vaccine mandates.
