Breitbart: Kansas City Chiefs’ defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi celebrated their Super Bowl 2020 win by paying adoption fees for every adoptable dog in the city.
“KC WINS!” the Kansas City Pet Project cheered in a Facebook post published just after the Chiefs’ win on Sunday night, along with another reason for celebration. “Derrick Nnadi is choosing to celebrate the Super Bowl win by paying for the adoptions of all the adoptable dogs currently at KC Pet Project!” more
I read this a couple days ago and gotta say I’m impressed. In fact he has a new fan.
Got damn showoff.
LOL Michael Vick.
Yeah, it’s nice to see a professional athlete that isn’t an overpaid, self-absorbed cunt.
Kansas City, Kansas or Kansas City Missouri?
@BarbaraGBodkin
Shhhhhh! You got a sweet deal going there, keep it under your hat!
KC Chiefs, a heartland team setting a heartland example beating the liberals and San Fran Nan. No wonder the evil bitch is throwing toddler tantrums.
I might catch hell for saying this, but here goes. While I truly do applaud this gesture, there are bound to be some unintended consequences. Whenever anyone gets something for “free”, they have no skin in the game. They often act impulsively. “Hey, let’s go get a dog. They’re free!” They are not thinking ahead to the responsibility, work, and expense involved in owning a dog.
A person who is willing to shell out some of their own money for an adoption fee is probably prepared to also pay for food, vet visits, chew toys, treats, etc. I know that many of these dogs will land in loving homes, but just as many are going home with some fool who will grow tired of them after a week or two then dump them on the side of the road. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not.
The man most likely has a soft heart and I’ll respect that.
Michael Vick says thanks.
