WFB: White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday brushed off a new book’s assertion that 80-year-old President Joe Biden privately admits he’s “tired.”
The Daily Mail’s Rob Crilly asked Jean-Pierre if the president’s tiredness is causing the White House to call press lids early in the morning.
“I mean, that’s a ridiculous assumption to make,” Jean-Pierre said. “That’s a ridiculous assumption to make.”
In private, Biden has admitted that “he felt tired,” according to Franklin Foer’s new book The Last Politician, excerpts of which were published Tuesday in the Guardian. Foer, a liberal journalist and former editor at the New Republic, said it was “striking” that the president “took so few morning meetings or presided over so few public events before 10am.” MORE

When his jogging isn’t interrupted by a sandbag, he makes it all of 2-1/2 steps before he’s tired and has to stop. We all see it, it’s obvious. Hell, he can’t even complete a sentence before trailing off into a drool, even a blind person could tell you how tired Joe is.

We need to get away from ‘age’ being the only problem with the resident or ANY politician. DJT will be 78 when he assumes office in January 2025 and if my math is correct that is the same age as Biden when he was installed in January 2021.
It is the COGNATIVE ABILITY that is what is important here. If we have a capable person in the office i don’t care how old he is.
Winston Churchill was 77 when he became the British Prime Minister for the second time in 1951. But he was the exception among politicians in their older age.
