I made a promise to you – that I would hold the Trump Administration accountable. I give credit when credit is due – and criticize when it is warranted.
So you can imagine my surprise when Donald Trump said he will not pursue a criminal investigation against Hillary Clinton.
I refer you to a promise Trump made to voters in October:
“If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation because there has never been so many lies, so much deception.”
So “Crooked Hillary” and “Lock Her Up” were just examples of campaign rhetoric?
Let’s hope there are not more campaign promises that turn out to be “campaign rhetoric.”

Well, probably, not much unlike Todd, I expect Donald to abandon every promise he ever made (and me thinks Todd knows this as well), we will watch with independent eyes and call it as we see it, as he abandons almost every promise he ever made on the campaign trail and label it as campaign rhetoric.
