Kentucky is basically divided into 3 large economic areas – Eastern mountains, Western hills and then there’s what I’ve always heard called the Golden Triangle of Louisville to Lexington to Covington/Cincinnati & everything in between. (Think mini DC Swamp.)
I didn’t recognize the county but immediately suspected it was in the Golden Triangle. Not that it couldn’t happen around here but I hadn’t already heard about this story before.
