Kentucky Parents of 7 Investigated for Abuse For Breaking Social Distancing Rules

Dan Bongino: After a warning from a bank teller, two Kentucky parents are being investigated for a potential case of abuse.

According to TheBlaze, the family moved to Kentucky from New York City, ostensibly to avoid this type of nanny-state fiat, a short time before this occurred in March. The parents brought their children into the bank to open an account, since they were too young to be left outside unattended.

Representing the family is the Home School Legal Defense Association, who stated:

The teller immediately interrogated [the parents] about why they had brought five kids into the bank at one time. She [the teller] told them they could not get within six feet of her and that they needed to take the children out. [The mother] explained that the children were too young to be unsupervised by an adult, and neither she nor [her husband] could take them elsewhere because the couple were opening a joint account, and both had to be present.

  1. This situation is bringing out the Nazi in many folk. I had a guy complain towards me for not wearing a mask in a store where it wasn’t required. He wanted an audience, so I told him he had to remove his mask to kiss my ass. People snickered and he backed off.

  2. @Bad_Brad: I’m not sure your comment is the requisite 6 feet away from me while I’m sitting at my computer, or that you were wearing a mask while making it.

  3. @Aaron Burr — So far the only snowbirds I’ve seen leaving Florida for points north have been ducks. I’d love to see the human ones go too…but leave their checkbooks and credit cards behind. (-:

I’m not going to read the rest of that story. I’m already angry enough.

  4. @Mm, the Home School Legal Defense Assoc. website has the full article, but even it doesn’t say what town or the bank name.

At least the family contacted HSLDA; they are excellent defenders of families caught in these situations. I am still a member though we completed K-12, because sometimes when home schooled kids apply at colleges or for jobs they get discriminated against. So far, it hasn’t happened, not even here in Commiefornia. Commie State officials tried some crap early on, but HSLDA shut them up.

  5. And I thought all the paranoid, fear mongering assholes lived in New York.
I wonder where the bank clerk migrated from.
I damn sure wouldn’t start an account at that bank.

  6. What in the flying *(&^(&%$&%$@%!#^$(^(#$&# has happened to KY, since I moved away in ’01?! 😮

  7. Lots of busy bodies now days, everywhere.

I’m taking notes, and I will be just as belligerent when they want my services.

Anyone who slows me down at work or pisses me off has been getting charged a bit more for the Bullshit.

A bank I service wanted me to wait in line with the customers outside the branch before letting me in to change the filters.
Aprox 1 hr. The contracts only allow for a certain amount of time on site, not waiting.

A warned the Stasi at the door that If I left I would not be back.
    No change.
I left, marked no access on the invoice & sent the maintenance bill. Done.
When they call for service they will pay for the call & a few things that would have been done before.

  8. I would be finding that teller out and about one day and teach her a lesson. I couldn’t raise kids today because I’d be in jail if this was done to me and my kids.
However, as soon as they started questioning me about my kids would have been when I told them to kiss my ass, I wouldn’t be putting my money in their bank and I would be contacting their boss.

  9. I would have told the teller bitch to fuck off, loud enough for customers and management to hear, turned around and left to find a different bank to open an account. If that teller doesn’t have the sense that God gave a rock, how could I trust that bank with my hard earned money.
I’ve done it before, I’d do it again.

  10. Sue. Suit. Chop Suey. the pants off of them.

And, do a News interview right in front of the branch with all the kids and sad puppy dog faces.

  11. Ironically, this is a case of “Hide your kids, hide your wife”. COVID Marxists are making sure a crisis isn’t going to waste. They destroy nations by first destroying families.
Sadly, the parents had no idea how ferociously pandemic lockdown restrictions are enforced by socialist “officials”.
This terrible story also illustrates how Americans have compromised our freedoms so much, we are now being corrupted by Deep State mandates.

  12. Give people with no common sense, decency or compassion the power to act like little godless gods and they will jump at the chance to wreck someone’s life. God on the other hand is much more understanding being acquainted with the true facts.
