I have had more than a belly full of these backstabbing, snake in the grass, four-flushers.
It seems to me that the problem is that the strong, truly conservative members won’t run. Hell even the mostly conservatives ones won’t run. They all seem to be saying they can do better things from where they are now (committee chairs or some such). That is so much BS after seeing how Pelosi (and Reid in the Senate) ran circles around the Republicans and stalled damn near every measure they tried to introduce. The Speaker doesn’t even have to be a member of the House as I understand so maybe it’s time to look outside. I think there may be a better candidate pool out there. Hell, elect Palin. That would make the progressives collective heads explode.
